"No effect when pressing F2"

No effect on pressing "F2" / Complete absence of audio signals.

The issue occurs due to the presence of antivirus software (Kaspersky, Avast, Dr.Web, Malwarebytes, etc.). Simply disabling the antivirus does not help, because kernel isolation is activated during the Windows boot stage.

What to do: Find the program that enabled the isolation feature. Check all suspicious active processes and applications that may interfere with Windows security.

  1. Open the Core Isolation settings in Windows 10/11 (you can find it in the "Windows Security folder")

  2. Disable the "Memory Integrity" feature in the "Core Isolation" tab

  3. Completely uninstall any third-party antivirus software: "Kaspersky," "Avast," "Avira," "360 Total Security," "Dr.Web," "Avast", "Eset32".

  4. Restart your PC and try again

  5. If the problem persists after a reboot, scan your PC using https://antivirus-removal-tool.com/ and make sure no antiviruses or leftover files remain in the system.
